The customized interdisciplinary research aims to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience to enhance their understanding and interest in STEAM applications. Through research, students can flexibly apply the content of the topic to their daily life and practice to solve real-world problems.
Programming
micro:bit | Arduino | Raspberry Pi | Jetson Nano | IoT
The courses cover programming skills from basic to advanced, especially for platforms such as micro:bit, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano and IoT. These courses are designed to provide students with practical opportunities to gain a deep understanding of how to build and program smart devices and systems. Students will learn how to use these platforms to develop their own projects, from simple LED flashing to complex home automation systems. Through practical learning, students can not only master programming languages and hardware operations, but also learn key technologies such as data collection, processing and analysis.

Land, Air and Water Drone Programming
Learn how to program and operate different types of drones, including aerial, underwater and ground drones. Students will begin with basic programming concepts and gradually learn how to write coding for drones, perform path planning and automatic navigation. The course not only covers theoretical knowledge, but also includes a lot of practical operations. Students will operate drones to complete tasks from simple to complex. In addition, the course will introduce the application of drones in different fields to help students understand the practical uses and future potential of drone technology.
Game Programming

The course aims to cultivate hands-on practice in game design for game developers, and experience the whole process from concept design to game realization. Learn the basics of game design, including story creation, character development and interface design. We will introduce programming languages such as C# and Python, as well as the use of popular game engines such as Unity, Minecraft, and Cospaces. Students will have the opportunity to make their own games and showcase their work. Students will not only be able to master the technology of game development, but also cultivate innovative thinking and teamwork skills.

Mobile Application Development
Through the Thunkable or App inventor platforms, students can create their own applications, from interface design to programming applications.

Virtual reality ( AR) | Augmented reality (VR) | Mixed reality ( MR)
Students will learn the basic theories of AR, VR and MR and their practical applications. They will have the opportunity to create their own AR, VR or MR projects. Different themes will be established according to students’ abilities and interests to train students to become a new generation of multimedia product designers.

Artificial Intelligence Learning
The course covers the following core areas: basic and advanced concepts of machine learning technology, key theories of data science, diverse applications of AI, and ethical controversies in the development of AI technology. Students will master how to build and apply intelligent systems through programming practices. This course aims to provide comprehensive technical training while cultivating students' in-depth understanding of AI from an ethical and social perspective.

Generative AI Applications
Students will learn to use the AI image generation platform and ChatGPT platform, and combine language and art design knowledge to create their own children's picture books. Through the activities, students can not only cultivate creative thinking, improve language, expression, communication and art design skills, but also experience the application of AI in creation and broaden their technological horizons.

Aerospace Technology
Learn about satellite technology, rocket propulsion systems, lunar rovers, and the design and implementation of space exploration missions. Students will learn how to apply physics and engineering principles to actual aerospace projects, and gain a deep understanding of the unique challenges of the space environment through hands-on operations. Cultivate students' design and engineering thinking and understanding of aerospace technology, so that students can understand and learn its structure through practice. Learn about the space environment, lunar rovers, and other structures, and apply them to design with specific hardware and software.
3D modeling, scanning and printing
Students will learn about the principles and techniques of 3D printing, master 3D drawing skills and how to use the printer. In the process of practice, they will understand the selection of material characteristics and printing parameters, and learn how to deal with common problems.

Photography and video production
Designed to develop students' all-round skills from shooting to post-production. Learn how to use professional cameras and software to capture stunning images and edit them creatively. The course covers various types of photography techniques, such as portraits, landscapes, and action photography, as well as plot planning, photography techniques, and editing for film shooting. Through practical operations and theoretical learning, students will be able to understand the power of visual narratives and develop their own unique visual style.
